In these two days of New York Fashion Week, we were presented many elaborated works to admire. The best one of them must be Givenchy, which was the most complete presentation by now. Riccardo Tisci took his guests, which included some top designers such as Michael Kors, Vera Wang and Rachel Zoe, to a fastasy world with his sensitive and genius show. The set was made of all recycled materials and intended to evoke the spirit of a Brazilian favela.
The other big show was Herve Leger by Max Azria. The Spring 2016 collection was without the iconic bandage dresses, which was a huge move for many fans have been fond of those. But happily the hourglass silhouette was still there with new additions like floral details, trousers and crisscross netting, which brought a fresh air to the label.
As for the other presentations, Zimmermann put some naughtiness on Victorian looks and gave us a very stylish collection while Pamella Rolland put on a highly radiant and brilliant show. Cushnie et Ochs maintained the sexy and edgy style of the label as Polo Ralph Lauren was there again with such American collection as always.
