This is my favourite month of year after the awards season and fashion weeks because of Met Gala and Cannes Film Festival. 2016 Cannes Film Festival red carpet was a true runway with the best looks of actors and supermodels. There were several comebacks like Kate Moss's and there were several newcomers that stole the show like Lily Rose Depp and Soko.
Among all the shining stars, two actresses shined more, if you ask me. They were Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart, who rocked all the red carpet events in their most stylish outfits. Kristen, as a true Chanel girl, kept it edgy in different Chanel outfits. What made her so speacial was her gothic beauty looks with her new blond hair. As for Blake, her amazing festival looks have never been surprising. She is already a style queen with her unique looks. Cannes 2016 was just another runway for her to present the magic she had, which was completed by her little baby bump this time.
I want to comment on some looks and some people particularly. Araya A. Hargate and Sonam Kapoor were the other style queens of the red carpet with their outstanding dresses and beauty looks. I also adored the Alexander McQueen look of Jessica Chastain, which she wore to the "Money Monster" premiere. Model Daria Strokous blew my mind in a Zuhair Murad gown. Amal Clooney's yellow Versace dress was loved so much, too.
My other favourites are Kendall Jenner in Roberto Cavalli, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Alexandre Vauthier, Lily Donaldson in Miu Miu, Kirsten Dunst in Gucci and lastly Bella Heathcote in Armani. See these looks and all from Cannes Film Festival 2016 below. Which are your favourites?
