PFW SPRING 2016 RTW: DAY 9

   End of another fashion week marathon. Let's have one last moment of creativity until the next fashion week marathon and go back to our boring lives. On the last day of Paris Fashion Week Spring 2016, there were the presentations of Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Zadig & Voltaire and Moncler Gamme Rouge.

  Louis Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquiére's inspiration for Spring 2016 collection was the digital age. "We are all living with this new dimension." he said. It was such a sci-fi collection with moto jackets, metal-embroideries, laser-cut leathers, spaceship-print pants and beaded knits.

  In Miu Miu presentation, each look was pretty absurd but each piece of that look was beautiful alone. I guess that was what Miuccia Prada aimed. "Miu Miu was about irrationality, the times we are in are extreme. There's conservatism on both the right and left in politics. And then, people look for escapes from it, attracted to strange religious beliefs or underground clubs and music." Miuccia said backstage. Isn't she completely right?

PFW SPRING 2016 RTW: DAY 8

  One more day before we finish with fashion weeks. Yesterday's presentations included Chanel, Valentino and Iris van Herpen.

  This time, Karl Lagerfeld took us to an airport with Chanel Spring 2016 presentation. The attendees were sitting with their flight tickets in their hands and the models kept coming in such creative Chanel looks. Karl Lagerfeld taught people how they should look while travelling.

  Chanel show pretty enjoyable but when it comes to collection, Valentino show was my favourite of yesterday. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli used their collection to point to refugee crisis in Europe. "The message is tolerance. And the beauty that comes out of cross-cultural expression." they said. Their collection was a combination of Roman and African traditions. It was such a great work both  for message and craft but  I won't believe that the customers will be aware of the message. Because Europe failed to show enough tolerance. Shame on humanity.

  Iris van Herpen presentation was another interesting show with Game of Thrones actor Gwendoline Christie lying motionless on a plinth like a big fish in fishnet and the models walking by it. The theme was Quaquaversal, which means "going off in all directions" and this was her attitude towards her work. It was a contemporary shows with a contemporary collection.

PFW SPRING 2016 RTW: DAY 7

  Hedi Slimane knows well how to attract young customers. His Spring 2016 collection for Saint Laurent proved that again with such Kate Moss looks. Models looked like hangover party queens in those fur, feather, leather or denim jackets over the bias-cut slip dresses with their crowns.

  I am not very much into Giambattista Valli's new collection but I'm sure many would love it because of his technique. It's just another romantic collection with floral prints, baloon-sleeved chiffon dresses and blouses, ruffles and Gigi Hadid. I leave it to you.

  Stella McCartney's collection was very sporty and comfortable with polo shirts, layered tanks, knitwear, slouchy pants, transparencies and cutaways. It was one the best collections this season for the fans of effortless chic.

  Hermés was another relaxed collection for chic city girls. It was very French in many aspects and it was very rich in fabrics and craft.
