American Music Awards 2016: Best Dressed

Hosted by Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah, American Music Awards of 2016 took place in Los Angeles yesterday. Gigi Hadid, who wore 6 different outfits, was obviously star of the night. I loved her off the shoulder Roberto Cavalli look on red carpet most. I liked the red Versace dress, too. Yet, her hair was disappointing because it made her look at least 10 years older. What happened to her youthful looks?

Other than Gigi Hadid, Lady Gaga was one of my favourites in a white Brandon Maxwell suit. It was plain and beautiful. Hailee Steinfeld's fabulous Elie Saab look was also worth mentioning.

Spotlight: Mugler

French designer Thierry Mugler created his first personal collection called "Café de Paris" in 1973. That was the roots of this great fashion house, Thierry Mugler. Mugler's silhouette was explained at Mugler.co.uk as distinct and instantly recognizable: anatomical, graphic, ultra-feminine and meticulous. Of course, there has been changes since Nicola Formichetti was announced as the new Creative Director of the house in 2010 and later in 2013, Formichetti was replaced with David Koma. But the recognizable silhouette goes nowhere.
