Founded by Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga in 1914, Balenciaga is an elevated fashion house in Europe. Cristobal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior. The current Creative Director of the house is another talented young designer, Alexander Wang, who has been doing a great job with such a big name like Balenciaga. What I like about Wang is that he adapted Balenciaga's modernist shapes for today rather than changing or copying them completely. But sad news is that the Spring/Summer 2016 show will be Wang's last collection with Balenciaga. They are looking for a successor. Let's pray this new name compensate for him.
