ACADEMY AWARDS 2016: BEST DRESSED

The 88th Academy Awards were held yesterday to honour the best film in 2015. We all were looking forward to the greatest night of the award season and Leonardo DiCaprio won the Best Actor, thank God! There were plenty of good looks on the red carpet but I cannot call it a breathtaking night. One of the winning ladies of the night was Alicia Vikander, who won the Best Supporting Actress and she was a winner on the red carpet, too, in a yellow custom Louis Vuitton gown.

Julianne Moore and Daisy Ridley wore Chanel and both looked gorgeous. Cate Blanchett and Naomi Watts were eyecatching in different Armani Prive looks. People talked about Charlize Theron's dress very much. Yes, it was beautiful but wasn't that look very similar to the one she wore in 2014 except the color. Rooney Mara opted yet another Givenchy look and it was very feminine and elegant. The Best Actress winner Brie Larson's Gucci look was worth to win an Oscar, too. Margot Robbie was nothing but beautiful in that metallic Tom Ford dress. And finally, Lady Gaga wore Brandon Maxwell again and it was the best ever.

BAFTA AWARDS 2016: BEST DRESSED

The stars hit the red carpet of the BAFTA Awards 2016 on London's Royal Opera House last night. Dakota Johnson became the star of yet another red carpet competition in this award season in a red strip dress by Dior. I have to say that she was fascinating but my favourite was another one. I'm talking about Dree Hemingway. She opted a beautiful Erdem dress with a perfect styling from head to toe. My only criticism is to Rooney Mara, who was wearing a Givenchy ensemble which was very similar to the looks she had worn several times lately. Enough girl! Yes, you look beautiful but enough of that look.
