ACADEMY AWARDS 2016: BEST DRESSED

The 88th Academy Awards were held yesterday to honour the best film in 2015. We all were looking forward to the greatest night of the award season and Leonardo DiCaprio won the Best Actor, thank God! There were plenty of good looks on the red carpet but I cannot call it a breathtaking night. One of the winning ladies of the night was Alicia Vikander, who won the Best Supporting Actress and she was a winner on the red carpet, too, in a yellow custom Louis Vuitton gown.

Julianne Moore and Daisy Ridley wore Chanel and both looked gorgeous. Cate Blanchett and Naomi Watts were eyecatching in different Armani Prive looks. People talked about Charlize Theron's dress very much. Yes, it was beautiful but wasn't that look very similar to the one she wore in 2014 except the color. Rooney Mara opted yet another Givenchy look and it was very feminine and elegant. The Best Actress winner Brie Larson's Gucci look was worth to win an Oscar, too. Margot Robbie was nothing but beautiful in that metallic Tom Ford dress. And finally, Lady Gaga wore Brandon Maxwell again and it was the best ever.

GRAMMY AWARDS 2016: BEST DRESSED

2016 Grammys were presented last night. The red carpet was full of black and whites, low-plunging necklines and cutouts. There were few gorgeous looks to mention, others were just unsatisfying. Nicole Trunfio looked so amazing in a Zuhair Murad jumpsuit that she did not need much to add to that look. I liked Taylor Swift's two-piece Versace ensemble with the choker, hair and make-up. I'm not sure about the shoes. Zendaya was my personal favourite in a Dsquared2 suit, which was very sleek and modern. Alessandra Ambrosio, Bella Hadid and Ciara were almost the same to me. I'm sick of those naked dresses without any stylish detail.

MTV VMA 2015: BEST DRESSED

2015 MTV VMAs went down in LA last night with a sensational show. Miley Cyrus, the host of the show, showed up with another iconic look, which is far from being stylish. Taylor Swift, the winner of Video of the Year, hit the red carpet with her Bad Blood squad. Singer FKA Twigs was eyecathcing in black Versace look, which was one of my favourite. Gigi Hadid and Hailee Steinfeld had the most stylish looks of the night. On the other hand, Selena Gomez was the biggest disappointment.
