HERAIC: 74th Golden Globe Awards: Best Dressed

The awards season is officially on. 74th Golden Globe Awards honored the best in film and TV of 2016. The ceremony was hosted by Jimmy Fallon. La La Land, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, was the biggest winner of the night by winning all seven awards it was nominated.

As for the red carpet, it was again a huge disappointment for me. I know I said it last year, too but believe me this one was worse. Metallic and sheer gowns with deep cleavages was the thing. Top trends of the season like ruffles, cut-outs and off the shoulder tops were there, too and i like it.

I loved Nicole Kidman and Jessica Biel a lot. Both Kidman's Alexander McQueen dress and Biel's Elie Saab dress were masterpieces with splendid details. Kidman was so romantic and feminine while Biel was a modern princess.

On the other hand, I liked Michelle Williams but i would not like to see that clutch. I'm very much into Evan Rachel Wood's suit-up style and she rocked that Altuzarra suit yesterday. I may love Blake Lively in that dress but wasn't she looking so big in that dress?

I'd love Emma Stone's look if it weren't for Golden Globes. Okay, you may prefer simplicity but come on! It's Golden Globes. We have seen so many of those looks.
