PFW SPRING 2016 RTW: DAY 1 & 2
Bonjour! Tt's time for Paris and now we are gonna take a closer look at the shows of the first and second day of Paris Fashion Week Spring 2016. Have fun!
Slits, short skirts, jackets, black, leather, metallic details and sexy looks. These are everything that we are used to seeing in Anthony Vaccarello's collection. They are not all that this man has but all that he likes. He already showed there were more things to come from that mind with his Versus Versace show. For example, his muse model Anja Rubik's face embellished T-shirts and dresses were a great nuance. Also with military-influenced looks, tattoo prints, denim pieces, asymmetric skirts and so on, he took the collection into a high level.
With some retro prints, rich fabrics, 30s' midi skirts, big jackets and all, Dries Van Noten show reminded us of old-time movie stars. The winglike patterns on dresses, tattoo-like patterns on gloves and the hair looks were such beautiful details. The colour palette was also very remarkable.
In Vionnet presentation, there were some beautiful looks and details reminding us of what the Vionnet house has been famous for like the bias cut, Gracian-style dresses and some romanticism. Yet, I cannot say I'm impressed by the entire collection. So I leave it to you.
