PFW SPRING 2016 RTW: DAY 3

On the 3rd day, there were a couple of big names like Chloé, Lanvin, Carven and Alexandre Vauthier but no show could even come closer to the attraction of Balmain show.
That Olivier Rousteing has increased Balmain's popularity is an undeniable fact. The fans outside, paparazzi, the audience and the models in the Spring 2016 presentation were the proof for this. As for the collection, nudes, suedes, thick belts, macramé and ruffles could not be used smarter than that. I can imagine many celebrities in those chic looks in the coming days.
A little bit romanticism of Chloé and a little bit 90s' soul of the designer, Claire Waight Keller, were the focus of the new Chloé collection. The show began with some sporty pieces and continued with the typicals of the brand, festival dresses, peasant tops, lacy pieces etc. With all those, Chloé collection has a soul.
The Lanvin show was a manifesto rather than a fashion show as the designer Alber Elbaz said. He staged a theatre actually. The show began with black and white daywear looks and they were followed by simple silk coctail dresses, parodical red carpet dresses and ended with the craziest party looks.
Now I leave you with the looks I chose from day 3 of Paris Fashion Week Spring 2016.
